Notting Hill

All Things Bright and Beautiful describes Farm Cottage in Notting Hill for Molly Oldfield, the author of the acclaimed children’s book ‘Everything under the sun’, her husband and young family. Our project initially involved extension and alterations to the Ground and Lower Ground Floors. Extending into a lightwell allowed the creation of a new entrance hall, coats area, wc and study at ground floor level whilst new lightwells enhanced a new kitchen/dining/family area at lower ground floor level.  Space was also found for a bathroom and utility at the lower level.  Slowly, but surely other parts of the house were given a makeover. What could be more appropriate for Molly than one of Alice’s sunray kitchens!
