Awards

Despite the limitations of the pandemic, Alice Poole Architects continued to work continuously and won multiple Awards in 2020 and 2021.  Alice Poole Architects were gold winners in two categories at the National Building and Construction Awards 2020/2021 securing, for a consecutive year, the Architectural Designer of the Year Award which featured the complete refurbishment of a Godwin House in Bedford Park and also winning the Architect of the Year Award for a stable conversion in East Anglia.    The following article was published locally - View Here

 

In 2021 Alice Poole Architects were delighted to win a Greater London Enterprise Award for being Best Modern Residential Interior Architecture Firm 2021 (article)  and an Award of Excellence when it was said “There can be little doubt that Alice Poole Architects is one of the leaders in its field and a practice that is going to make a real impact in the years to come.”

 

Other Awards were won in 2020 and 2021 including, a Global Award for the Best Listed Building and Conservation Architecture Firm in the South of England for the fourth and fifth year running, an Award for the Best Full-Service Architecture Practice for the second and third year running, two Gamechangers Awards and two further awards for being the Best Listed Building, Conservation Architecture and Period Building Practice in South and South East England. 

 

When, winning the National Building Award for Architectural Designer of the Year in 2019, the  judges commented “The contribution to the industry as an individual and small company is immense and deserving of this award” and the following article was published locally - View Here

 

In 2018 Alice’s own kitchen won the British Design and Manufacturing Award of the Designer Kitchen and Bathroom Award.  In 2017, Alice Poole Architects won another Award for the Best Listed Building and Conservation Architecture Firm in the South of England, was shortlisted to the final five for a AJ Architectural Award 2017 and was a finalist at the London Construction Awards 2017.  An Alice Poole Architects project was exhibited in the Don’t Move Improve Exhibition in 2016.  Alice Poole Architects are currently shortlisted for other awards and historically have been shortlisted for three Design Awards in 2009, four in 2010 and four in 2011.
